its just a matter of time before Goodell is gone.

Seems like every week a story comes out like this.
Eventually something is going to stick.
Eventually the owners are going to get tired of stories like this when they realize these stories will not go away.

Also the fact that Sunday night football got beat out in the ratings for the first time in 27 years Thai season

Employees turned over their phone records to this guy? He's not a cop or associated with a government service at all. If I were an employee, that really wouldn't fly but I guess if you need the job?

Smoke and mirrors. The NFL is paying for this investigation, so leaks like this make it seem like the investigators are doing their job. After all is said and done with the investigation will find that Goodell did nothing wrong

Totally agree. Goodell is one of the best CEO's in modern business history. The money/revenue he's brought to the league, players, and owners is unprecedented.

I remember when Chop said in September that Roger would be gone in 30 days and was going to bump the thread to remind me how wrong I was for laughing at him.

ESPN had SNF from 1987-2005.
NBC took it over starting 2006.

well, not to make a big thing about it, I know for a fact that Sunday Night Football hasn't been around for 27 years. Less than 10 years for sure.

Goodell is a good commish.

I know for a fact you would be wrong. I remember going to my first Sunday night game in the dome in 1988 against the Rams
Reason I remember that is because it felt so weird going to an NFL game on a Sunday night because it was a brand new thing back then

Flipper Anderson broke the NFL record for receiving yards in a game in that game. I think he had around 300 yards receiving. It's probably still an NFL record to this day

Somewhere in there TNT did SNF because they were there for that game in 88

My favorite was when Monday Night football started.
Monday Night Football premiered 9/1/1970 with Don Meredith, Howard Cosell and Keith Jackson hosting.

I think for awhile they did the 1st half of the season and then ESPN finished up.

Besides "screwing up the Ray Rice" issue, what has he done wrong? Again, he is one of the best CEO's in modern business history. You obviously have an issue w/ him because of the Saints, so you really can't comment w/out bias. The guy has been great for the NFL. Will he get run out by the politically correct fucked up United States we live in? Possibly. Doesn't change the fact he's still a great, great CEO.
