Was in Dick's yesterday and two dudes smoking them in the store. They still smell.

Don't know the law in a non-smoking state.

I have seen some of these being used in non-smoking area at the local Casino down here. Not sure if they are considered legal or not though when comes to non-smoking laws and areas.

I would think they would require a separate ordinance specifically prohibiting them.

Depends. One or two states have said they need to be used only in designated areas. Most have no laws and it is up to the business to decide.

Iwas given a free sample at a bar recently, tried it there and smoked it in 2 other bars in Boston. Was not told to stop fwiw. Not going out on a limb here but I think it varies state to state.
These things are incredible, cannot believe how much they taste like regular cigarette. Fascinating.

Half tempted to try some of those 'flavors' but quit smoking way back and don't want to dance with that devil. Smoke a few cigs over course of year when I have many drinks but don't crave them next day. Don't want to let these things sneak into my life.

Yeah I'm big into the vaping thing. Got all kinds of flavors. Been crushing the cherry limeade recently...sooooooooo good. Probably too good.

When I started with it I didn't think I'd like the flavors. Then added some coffee flavor to the regular tobacco and it was phenomenal so branched out.

See, you're scaring me now. I'm going to grab that e-cig and toss it now. One day they'll come up with "Coffee-coconut" and then I 'm hooked!

I've seen people smoke them on air planes. It's just water vapor.

I fly a lot and it's my understanding that most airlines have a policy where you are allowed to use them in the terminal but not on the plane.

It used to be kind of an unspoken rule/gray area, but the things are popular enough now that most have addressed them with written policy, always anti e-cig. It's consistently ok in the terminal but not on the plane.

I was on a British Airways plane from London to Atlanta last week and someone was refusing to stop using their e-cig on the plane. He actually kinda got in trouble and the pilot made an announcement and everything, haha. Good in-flight entertainment.

I can kinda understand that some people might be sensitive to it for whatever reason...I've used mine in the car before with my dad and he has said it makes his throat scratchy. Plus I suppose someone might be (justifiably?) concerned about 2nd hand nicotine, especially with babies/kids.

I smoke and vape (vape in the house and car, smoke while I'm out and about), but always try to do it respectfully. I know most people think it's nasty cause it is. So I don't even use my vape indoors in public places (including the terminal even though it's allowed), just my home.

It was a few years back when I saw it. I knew it was just a matter of time before pussies started lobbying for laws against water vapor. Seriously you put your health more at risk (and your children who are in the car) when fill up at the gas station than you will from second hand water vapor.

I quit smoking ten years now, tried one of the vapor one a few years ago, and thought it had a horrible after taste.

I wonder how much pull big tobacco has with this...of course in their best interest to try to limit their best competitor's competitive advantage.

BTW - this wasn't me, just was curious to what the laws are. I don't care about these things.

Is it really "just" water vapor. I'm asking because I don't know but I would've guessed there was a lot more to it than just water vapor. Figured there were random chemicals, etc. Obviously a lot better than smoke and the chemicals in cigs.
