Police: Officer in Missouri shot, killed man who pulled gun

BERKELEY, Mo. (AP) — Violent protests broke out again in suburban St. Louis after another fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old by a white police officer.

The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday at a convenience store in Berkeley, Missouri, just a few miles from Ferguson, where Michael Brown, an unarmed black 18-year-old, was killed by a white officer in August.

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar says the Berkeley shooting victim was black and the officer white.

Belmar says police were called about a theft and as the officer questioned two men, one pointed a gun at him. The officer fired three shots. One hit the gunman.
A violent protest broke out. Two officers were injured, police cars were damaged and fire was set at a QuikTrip store. Four people were arrested.

I am so fucking tired of black people playing the victim card. They act just like the Palestinians. They burn down their neighborhoods and then the government gives them all handouts. The guy pulled a gun on the police. What is there to protest about?

Im so tired of people having their skin color used as a description. A robbery suspect pulled a gun on an officer and was shot dead. The color of the two individuals involved has no bearing on what happened all it does is expand the hate of both races towards the other.

And btw, if you think that only black people get handouts, you need to pay closer attention

The young man was pulling out his gun when the mean officer approached to simply ask him about gun safety, and now he's dead.. I dont know about you, but i'm heading to missouri for some last minute looting before Xmas..

Skin color is important when you have a vastly disproportionate number of blacks committing violent crimes. You can't make excuses for it and you can't deny that it is a fact.
