Got an offer to refer a friend...$200 off for both parties, double what they normally offer.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

If this is in the wrong forum, I apologize.

I already have them or I would jump on the offer. (They are way better than comcast IMO).

Thanks.

Agree. Can't login and watch it. Not sure why, as it certainly costs enough!

The Walt Disney Co. and DirecTV have announced a multiyear distribution deal, which among other things grants the No. 1 satellite TV broadcaster rights to ESPN, ABC and Disney Channel authenticated online-video services.
Under the renewal, DirecTV subscribers will gain access to Disney’s entertainment content across TVs, computers, smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles and other Internet-connected devices. DirecTV, whose deal with Disney was due to expire at the end of 2014, is the last major pay-TV provider to sign on to Disney’s “TV Everywhere” services.

All this, and DTV still can't land the fuckin Pac-12 Network. Although it doesn't say when these services will kick in...probably after the AT&T merger is approved.

I still don't understand the logic of the AT&T deal. It was contingent upon DTV keeping the exclusive rights to Sunday Ticket, which they did. With that being the case, why would DTV care about what they were paying for Sunday Ticket if AT&T was going to buy them out regardless? Seems like that was putting the cart before the horse.

I also wonder when AT&T will start offering Sunday Ticket on UVerse cable. Hard to understand why they wouldn't if they now own the company which owns the rights to it...

Early 2015 which will also include access to WatchESPN. Since ESPN is under the Disney umbrella a deal needed to be done with Disney.

AT&T doesn't own DTV as of yet, it is sitting with regulators to decide if they will let the deal move forward or not. Until then DTV has the only rights to Sunday Ticket. So they cared a lot because at the time they didn't have any suitors interested in buying them.
