that was a great game to watch tons off offence in the first two periods and then great tension in the third. Felt pretty confident we would hold on about 5 mins into the 3rd as the Russians were not getting very many good looks.

Props to the Russians for fighting back, I had the canadians to win this tourny running away and my bet paid but I sweat it till the end.
I knew about Reinhart, Domi and McDavid, there talents were well known but the big surprise for the tourny to me was Darnell Nurse, Edmonton got itself a real talent there, kid is gonna be a star dman. Just waiting to see how Edmonton screws the pooch with him. Also as a Vancouver fan, Virtanen is a horse, speed and throws his weight around, he's gonna be a fun player to watch for years to come as he puts it all together.
