FYI...

Received one of those fake tape recorded IRS calls threatening a lawsuit.

The calling phone number was 939-561-3601.
The phone number they want you to call is 202 559-4669.

Goggled both phone numbers. Both are known phone numbers that scammers use.

Sad thing is people get duped by these. This past summer for about a week I got called every day. The recorded message would tell me to call some guy and gave some badge number. Googled the #, and sure enough a known scam.

Just an FYI. The IRS will NEVER call or email you regarding something that is unbeknownst to you. They will send you an IRS notice first. Dont give out any personal information (d-o-b, ssn#, checking info, etc) when these "scammers" call you. Just hang up the phone or ignore the email

The second # is Betalls cell #

That's why he doesn't have to sell watches anymore.

Best thing to do is google a number like that. IRS would send you a letter 10 times before calling if ever...if its a call they send you a letter to ask you to call them. LOL. They have thousands of people they try and track down.
