Yeah, have a Girl that comes around a shop that my Wife goes to. Every Wednesday and Saturday she has DVD's
Got Annie about 2 weeks ago, it was a Screener . Will be going tomorrow for American Sniper, The Gambler and Birdman.

I use to watch them on the Computer, but those sites suck no a days... Never tried a torrent site. Thought they were full of spyware, etc...

I will have to see if the DVD guy that comes into my local pool hall has any screeners. Would they know them by that title? I'll probably stick to torrent sites as I never get any viruses from them as I know how to spot harmful stuff online.

Big difference over the past couple of years with these people that come around with DVD's
Use to be a lot of those Movie theater copies.. you see people getting up in their seats.. lol

Now the Copies are pretty good with Previews and where you have to re-press the Play button to watch or even has options to watch Behind the scenes, etc.
Then you get the Screeners ... which are pretty cool. 2 years ago I had one that was for Barbra streisand, and last year my copy of Silver lining Playbook was for ellen degeneres
Their name will pop up a few times through out the Movie.

anyway... My Girl tells me straight out if it's a Really Good Copy, or Good Copy. and she tells me Bad Copy, and to wait a week.. because a better copy is coming.
I've been dealing with her, the same person for over 8 years.. and I buy like at least 5 every week. I can even return any bad ones
Also... Some you can't play them on a Smart Blu Ray... because it will sometimes pick up that it's a Copy.

on Torrents, can you just burn a Copy ? or do you need to watch it from the site ?
Because I think a lot of these DVD's are done that way...

I just like having a actually Disc to play because I can watch it on the TV and can give it to Family and friends to watch too.

Betall you can also get a thumbstick and play them on your tv or something that has a usb interface. That's what I usually do, or get some DVDRW's and reuse them

You can do either. I usually download it if it is a movie I know I will like or had been looking forward to watching. If not, I will just hook my laptop up to the big screen & watch it.

Wait you are in NY as well, where could I find your DVD girl?
