I mean seriously, it's always something. No napkins. They forget the ketchup or tarter sauce, they give you rootbeer instead of Coke, whatever. How often does it happen to you. I mean I understand that it's just teens and basically kids working at these joints and their workplace is their social life and they have their heads in the clouds at that age but really, how difficult is it to get an order right?

It's a nuisance when you get home and realize they messed up your order. I've made up my mind. I'm not driving off from the last window anymore until I check the bag. Lol. I don't care if I'm holding up the line.

Also, going to start eating at the chinese restaurant more instead of the drive thru. What's your experiences been like? I mean on the rare occasion I realize that I got the wrong order altogether and got a ton of stuff for free but mostly it's bad news.

Jag remember that bakery with the cream donuts you love so much? Well it turns out the baker is a jerkoff.

Know exactly what you mean VH.

I went to McDonalds about a week ago, and when I got home realized they failed to give me all of the food, as well as all of the extras I asked for.

So....I go back, and while there ordered one other thing upon request, and told them what they failed to give me before.

I'll be damned if they STILL didn't give me all of the food & extras AGAIN!!

Grrrr

pay them better but hire BETTER staff or simply TRAIN THEM BETTER...\

it's obscene how little $ these people make compared to what the companies make, a little balance wouldn't be bad IMO.

This kinda thing is the shit that can set me off. "Hey bitch, pay attention, you can heart shit later"

One day at Jimmy Johns, AFTER I got my shit, it hit the fan. I publicly scolded an 18 year old. The words "concentration camp" were used. I think they fucked up 3 times.

Wendy's is the all time nationwide leader in screwing up orders though. Its like they are trained to do it.

I bet I can start at McDonalds tomorrow, and all they have to show me is where everything is at... no training needed. Train them to do what?? Push a button on a register? Read a screen and make sure you put all the items on the screen in the bag?

That's a job where no training will be needed for those with a grasp on common sense and those who want to work.

I worked at Little Ceasars in high school. Fast food stuff is freakin easy and extremely mismanaged because managers are guys whose life turned the wrong way. Those dumbasses called me 1 day or I should say called the high school to get a hold of me because they needed to make dough and I was only 1 that knew how too. My God, I was 17/18.

It was free food out the ass though which is good when you are that age and are a growing young man with a fast metabolism.

I remember getting into it with a customer. My phrase was always " what can I get you".....He didn't like and said " you mean, how can I help you". I then said " what the fuck you want" It was fun. Memories

Are you saying having a decent head of kitchen in all restaurants wouldnt improve things? Because thats what I meant... preparing superb fast food could be an art as well... is mot only mediocre fries and mediocre burgers...

Vlad is a funny poster.

Let him post to his full potential
haha

When I was I. School in 1996 I worked the graveyard shift at the only 24 hr subway in town.

I always served the bar crowd at 2am.

I have some stories that would blow your mind.
Its amazing what a drunk chick will do for free food.

It was fun times.
Subway actually tasted good back then.
I can't put my finger on it but it don't taste like it did back when I worked there.

The bread is not the same.

They cut the bread different then when I worked there.

All kinds of differences .

The prices were much cheaper also.

I think the most expensive foot long was the $5.25 steak and cheese and thinking to myself back then how anyone would pay over 5 for a sub.

Most of the others were 3.75 or less.

Now they Are all over $5.

Some of them over 10 after taxes
