I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about fees or they just take the $$ out after fees? I've only deposited with them once in the last year ( around Thanksgiving) and they didn't do that to me. Maybe it's a new thing. It does suck tho.

For example, I deposit $200 and they charge my card 206.90....and no it's not coming from my bank side.

I had that problem in the past with different books when using a cc too. I don't know why that is. If you deposit using WU or MG, it costs $8. So it's still a little cheaper unless the bank charges you also. It's always something. I think they pick up the fees for deposits of $300 or more with WU or MG. Not sure with cc's tho. But to answer your ? I don't know why they charge you $6.90. Sorry man. I stopped trying to deposit by cc long ago cuz it was such a pain in the ass. Especially withdrawals.

is it one of those re load cards ??

ok, you say not coming from your Bank, so it's your bank card ..
but it does sound like a debit fee ... like taking cash out from another bank ATM , where they charge you a fee

just ask 5Dimes

Bovada does the same sort of thing with cc. Seems like it has something to do with a fee they incur on their end with the type of transaction (not to mention what you might pay on your end).

It it is a reload ******** card. They charge a $1 per transaction, but 5 dimes is charging 6.90. This has just started in the last 6 months. I have talked to 5 dimes and they say they are not charging me....which is a complete lie. They want me to email my statements, which I will. I need to be reimbursed for every deposit I have made. If 5dines is the best book out there than this industry has major problems.

wrong. All these debit cards / prepaid cards come with a fee. Its usually $2 up to $8 I've seen. Usually the fees is a flat rate, so my suggestion is making less smaller transactions and one bigger one and you'll not get charged as much. I have had guys make several deposits over the years using these cards and when they say the just added $100 on the cards 10 minutes ago and I tried to run it for $100 it wouldn't go through. I would try it for $96 or some other number lower than $100 and it would be approved. Its not a 5dimes thing.

Bet on line charges for cc deposits, but 5 Dimes does not. It's your reload card that is making the charge. You should be able to log in somewhere on your cards website to view your transactions.

some books might actually refund those deposit debits card fees for you. It all depends on the book, how much you lose (deposit) and how much history you have with them. Best is to ask the book to see if they will consider it. Remember, like WU or MG, some books will cover the fees at $100 and some won't unless you send $250 etc.

Wrong. N e t s p e n d charges $1 per transaction. I have deposited with 5 dimes using n e t s p e n d for the last 5 years, has always been $1 per transaction and free on 5 dimes end. For the last 6 months this has changed and it is not from n e t s p e n . Still the flat rate of $ per transaction.

Go look at your transactions and post where the remaining $5.90 is being charged from, that would resolve who was charging it.

Pretty simple.

It's the CC processor charging 6.90 not 5Dimes, it gets put on deposit so it looks like 5Dimes is charging you. Most books will reimburse you if you go on live chat or send email.
