If only we had Justin Cruise to give us his National Championship prediction then you would know exactly what you need to do.

Without the assistance of JC hedge.

Lots of equity in that bet.

Why make the bet though, if you were going to hedge? Why put the Monday night game in it, if you didn't want it? It really doesn't make any sense.

Agree 100%

Just throwing money away putting a last bet on another day if the intent was to hedge

on a side not....be careful about your payout as you will not get the full amount with that push in there

Yea kinda sucks when the play with the longest odds is the last leg of the parlay.
It would have been one thing if that play was at the beginning of the parlay instead of the end.

You knew before the first game started on this parlay that this was going to be an issue if you won the other plays from the very beginning.

You still have about 64% chance of winning zero $0

You have several thousands in equity on this play.

Now that the bet has already been made and there is no going back there is only 1 correct answer and thats to get as much equity out of this bet as you can that has a 64% chance of getting you $0 if it stands on its own.

But in order to do all that you will end up making less money then you would have if you would have just simply left that last play off the parlay.

or had he played the spread instead...wouldve given him a chance to hit both bets by playing oregon ml...but who's complaining about a chance to win 5+k from 50 dollars...lol

I think you guys are all smoking crack.....of course it was a bad idea to put in a monday game if he was gonna hedge....

he should've just done a 6team...then if it won, he can decide how much of it to roll into the monday game (I assume it wouldn't be the entire thing)

and you guys are forgetting that he had one push....

His current payout if he wins the +174 is $3,206.92, NOT $5k

I saw oregon at -220

so he can risk $2200 to win $1000. and that way he gets $1000 or $1006.92. Not a bad hedge....

to illustrate my point...if this had been a 6-team parlay (and the push was a win)....instead of $5771.42, he would've already won $2,074.61 with nothing to hedge.

if he wants, he can roll the entire $2,074.61 on a +174 and actually win $5,792.68 ($21.26 MORE than currently). But the point is with 6 won and +174 to go, the hedge isn't anywhere near $2,074.61.

either way, NICE JOB! I hope you hit however you decide to go.

if i were in your shoes, i'd be looking to hedge in-game. hope OSU goes up a TD or 2 then maybe u can get much better odds.... (please don't forget your new payout is less than the $5700)
