Anyone else get freaked out by the exorcist?

I'm glad I wasn't allowed to see it as a Kid because back then, Nightmare on Elm Street would cause me a couple sleepless nights and looking back, that was more comedy than horror. I think generally exorcist is a is a pretty boring movie but when some of those scenes with the little girl, freaks me out. Not mention I have studied exorcisms and know that have been done

Scary movies that aren't realistic do not scare me one bit and are usually more funny than scary. I get scared by movies that can happen in real life or that at least attempt to create something that can be scientifically explained. Movies like The Strangers, Saw 1, Silence of the Lambs, Psycho... shit like that. Coming home to your empty house all alone after watching The Strangers was terrifying.

Hostel 1 for me was that "realistic" horror movie. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about it and said to myself, "Man, that shit could really happen!"

I think Saw was too unrealistic.
