The Denver Broncos and coach John Fox have mutually agreed to part ways, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The move comes a day after the Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs by the Indianapolis Colts.


Rex Ryan probably thinking fuck I should've waited 24 hrs and tried to get that job.

Seems like they will just hire Gase or Del Rio

Likely Gase if it helps keep Manning around another year

This may be a smart move. Whether Peyton retires or not, the writing is on the wall. Elway sold out everything to win these past 3 years and is staring at a long rebuilding process. Osweiler looks very bad in the outings that I have witnessed.

With the amount of current openings he sees a chance to get with another organization. Perhaps he has already been in contact with one.

I would think it was more Elway saying GTFO instead of Fox making the call.

Sounds like it with Fox saying he looks forward to continue coaching. La Canfora reporting Broncos aren't likely to hire in-house

fox got lucky imo if it was not for peyton coming to denver he would not lasted this long............................fox coaching is not in line with this new nfl type of offense, 20 yrs ago yes but not now

Normally I am not a fan of hiring defensive guys but you noticed when he was coach of the Jags, they were competitive, he left there and they have been a perrenial top 5 pick
