Better than ever according to his colleagues who have seen his new swing....Johnny Miller and Feherty are impressed.....think it is time for a Major this year......^!::banger::aktion033

OK all you haters, fire away.....anything is an improvement over last year.....I watched a couple videos and I am impressed....he is playing in Phoenix this week where the fans will let him have it.....

Good luck to the best golfer I have ever seen.....with apologies to Jack and Arnie......

I have another 8 dozen balls up for grabs with Chop on the NO again this year... But, I believe is chances this year are significantly better then last year.. I don't think his body was close to playing major type of golf to win.. hell he wasn't able to do anything last year.. at 39 he is running out of time... not only that we have a helluva field now that's not going away... Rory is setting his sights on the masters to get to career grand slam and keep the Rory Slam alive... Got some nice Masters future wagers my last couple of Vegas trips I'm really excited for the golf season..

I would put those players ahead of Tiger going into the Masters....Tiger still has problems with the putter.. He can start swinging like Freddie but if he can't putt..

People (the talking heads on TV) might be impressed with Tiger..... but more likely they a praying he picks his game back up. They built the guy up so big and they need him to come back somewhere near that level. (which I doubt he can)

Something you NEVER hear... and I guarantee it is true..... Tiger was an outstanding player...... but today’s players are spoiled rotten by the huge purses and their opportunity to get filthy rich without the requirement of winning much at all.

If Tiger would have had to face ANYONE like a Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Arnie, or others...... by that I mean..... guys who REALLY understood how to win...... and valued winning the way they did...... If Tiger played that kind of competition.... he would have several less majors that he has now.

FACT.... but I will put my old man soapbox away now!

If you mean the best Tiger can be now..... someone out there is better..... I don't disagree with that.

But, if you mean when Tiger was the best he ever was...... someone out there now is better than that...... You are smoking too much. (Are you from Colorado?)

I DO NOT believe Tiger was ever the greatest of all time..... but I do believe.... at his best.... Tiger was better than anyone on the PGA tour today. surky this is what you meant

I purposely left the comment vague. First, I dont smoke anything, so no pipe to put down. We can debate who was the best when they were at their best. Tiger was never a great driver of the ball, which is why he learned that "stinger" shot, but he may have been the best at making 10 foot par putts. If you put Tiger in his prime versus Rory at the top of his game, it would be a great round of golf. But I guarantee you, Rory wont wilt or be scared like many of Tigers competition years ago.

I've had a bet with VD for 5-6 years that Tiger wouldn't beat Jack's record of total majors by Tiger's 40th birthday. Only 11 more months to go.

Tiger has already won all 4 Majors in a row......

Nobody is saying that Tiger is the best right now because frankly he is not.....but he is the best I have ever seen during his great run.....I just hope he contends with all these future bright stars like Reed, McIllroy, and Spieth.....I am also excited about the new season.....
