I grabbed Pats +1 as I have some nice futures on Seahawks. Line has already quickly moved from Seattle -3 to PK Em at most places. When news of injury to Sherman comes out, I feel Pats will be a slight favorite as they should be. Huge advantage in the passing game and Pats defense is much improved. JMHO

Funny, this is what they said prior to last year's game against Denver.

Since I have some Seattle at 16/1 and some 18/1, I hope you're correct. However the way this Patriots team has been playing, I'd be a fool not to cover with Pats +1 right ?

-1 at some books now in Vegas, too bad you couldn't get +3, did any Vegas books open that quick. I think +1 was the best you could get in Vegas. This is Identical to what happened last year. I bet New England goes off at -2.5 come game time too.

Going into the game, I don't remember anyone saying Denver was soft.

Plenty of people did. I sure did, and bet accordingly. I would have bet more if it was SF- Denver, but Denver was the epitome of a soft team, and Peyton, bless his soul, is the epitome of a soft, playoff QB. Brady is the exact opposite, a tough as nails killer, as is his coach, and that team.

I'd take Seattle at like +120ish if it gets to that. Just F over all the Hawks fans by single-handily altering the outcome and betting on their team.

This is a scary game for bettors no doubt

All Super Bowls are scary when most bet way over their normal bet. For me it's just another game, but with good food and alcohol.

Actually Cantor had the lines on all the possible Super Bowl matchups all week here in Vegas. They had the line as Seattle -3 over Patriots. However as soon as the after game lines were posted, Cantor had it lowered to Seattle -1 over Pats which I grabbed. It was pretty solid pk Em elsewhere. I'm sure Sherman's Injury will be a factor on which way the line moves. I have 5 Sportsbooks lines on my phone and I Pad so I'll update If anyone is interested.

OK I just checked all 5 lines that are on line here in Vegas. Cantor, William Hill, Boyd's and Southpoint are all PK Em. Only Stations Casino have P_ats as a 1 point favorite !

He didn't look so killer during his last two super bowls. Brady is hardly invincible.

+1

Lets remember the Giants team that beat them were mediocre on both SBs but played with TONS of heart during both of those SB matches. I cashed on those 2 superbowls.

Like I posted earlier. All Cantor Books here in Vegas had Seattle -3 over Pats all week.

Invincible no. All Time great, yes. Regardless of what happens in this Superbowl. Seattle couldn't even bother an immobile Rogers, and they won't have a Coach who was afraid to win against them, like McCarthy was today.

This is going to be a great Super Bowl. With injuries to Sherman and Thomas the game really is a pick-em. How will Seattle recover from emotionally draining win. You really couldn't have asked for a better match-up. Brady going for his fourth to tie Montana or Seattle winning back to back. No Manning baggage this time. Both of these teams have tons of heart and will fight to the finish.
