Anyone got any? Trying to stick to my healthy resolution and haven't found a good healthy breakfast yet. I'd like to start making smoothies because they are seemingly healthy and, just as importantly, quick.

I looked online and the recipes I found were a little overwhelming. Some had about a dozen ingredients and fruits I had barely ever heard of.

im just wanting something very simple.

Ingredients would be simple strawberries, blueberries, protein powder (strawberry flavored) and what else?

Im guessing ice and/or yogurt. Any ideas on quantity of each or is it trial by error?

1 cup almond milk
1 cup blueberries, or any berry.
1 tsp lemon juice 1/2 banana
1/2 cup plain yogurt.
Fruit should be frozen
Blend for 30 seconds

P.S trial by error isn't bad either

Here's the key -- if it doesn't jive with ur palate it won't last . It MUST taste good . If it does the probability of you wanting it daily or every other day will be high .

Define what u like . Then play with combos. Try to get two 'go to shakes' , this way ur not having the same one over and over again .

I have two go to's :
-strawberry flavored dominated shake (a strawberry flavored plant based protein , crushed ice, milk, scoop of strawberry Greek yogurt , blueberries , raspberries, strawberries )
and a mocha chocolate/peanut butter flavored dominated (choc whey protein , choc mocha , crushed ice , milk, scoop of Greek yogurt , Half - banana , massive spoon of peanut butter :)...)

the shakes don't put a dent in satiety for me, so I always have it with some food ..:)

Silk.com has 70 or so recipes.
Probably 10 -12 that you might use.

frozen strawberries and blueberries, possibly bananas.
skim milk

blend up in blender or nutri bullet

Grocery stores typically sell a good mixes of frozen fruit. I usually just dump those in the blender with protein powder and milk.
