They let anyone in the Hall of Fame anymore. Make 3 or 4 pro bowls and you are considered. Polian doesn't have Jim Kelley or Peyton Manning, who is he? He drafted like shit.

Pretty impressive if you ask me.

For his career, Brown made nine Pro Bowl appearances and was named to the Associated Press All-Pro team in 1997. He is the only player in NFL history to record at least 75 receptions in 10 straight seasons (1993-2002), and he recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in nine straight seasons (1993-2001).

How does Tim Brown get in over Marvin Harrison?

They both have basically the same amount of receiving yards but Brown played like 3 seasons more than Harrison.

Harrison had 128 td catches in 13 seasons. Brown had 101 total touchdowns in 16 seasons

Harrison had 1,102 catches in 13 seasons. Brown had 1,094 catches in 16 seasons.

The Raiders always suck. The Colts were contenders nearly every year.

Who votes for this stuff.

The NFL HOF has such a backlog of guys who belong, and with their limits every year, that everyone who gets in is worthy. It's a joke that Will Shields wasn't 1st ballot, or that Haley and Brown, and Tinglehoff for that matter, had to wait so long, but there are too many worthy guys, and not enough guys let in every year.

"Among the players and coaches who did not make the cut Saturday were kicker Morten Andersen, coach Don Coryell, running back Terrell Davis, coach Tony Dungy, linebacker/defensive end Kevin Greene, wide receiver Marvin Harrison, coach Jimmy Johnson, safety John Lynch, tackle Orlando Pace and quarterback Kurt Warner."

Are you guys telling me that nobody from this list is more deserving that some that got in???

Tony Dungy & Tampa has a defensive scheme mocked and/or known by the entire league these days called the 'Tampa 2'.

Everyone knows who Morten Andersen is & is the NFL's All-Time leading scorer for God's sake!

Marvin Harrison is probably more deserving than Tim Brown.

John Lynch played on the same great defense & was almost equally as important to it's success as Hall Of Fame Teammates Derrick Brooks & Warren Sapp. (Ronde Barber should get in too)

Warner & Pace are in their first year of eligibility, but cmon.

Jeez have these voters even been following football for the last 20 years?!?

Put brown in the era Harrison played in and he would have much better numbers than Harrison.

Their careers only stated 8 years apart. Hardly seperate eras. And Harrison was putting up some numbers 2 years before Manning got there. Harrison will get in but putting some center from the 60's in? I don't know how the voting works but if it took him that long, he prob. wasn't that good. Like I say, make a handful of pro bowls and you get in

None of those guys belong except for maybe Kevin Greene.

How can anyone say Will Shields doesn't belong? Dude was one of the best and most consistent lineman of the 1990-2000's. Never got injured in 14 years! Started every game except the first of his rookie year. 12 Pro Bowls, 3x 1st Team All Pro, 4x 2nd Team All Pro.

That's my point. EVERY one of the guys that got in, AND these guys, are deserving. The NFL should allow up to 10 player enshrines each year to clear the backlog a bit. I think every one of the guys that didn't get in this year will get in, except maybe Terrell Davis because of how short his career was.
