You will see the ticket if it wins. If it loses, it was just a rumor he made the bet. Have no idea how much money he has, but he will end up broke. He's betting what a winning lottery ticket would pay on a game that seems to almost be a coin flip. Result will probably end up on some random play that no one can predict like a kickoff return or fumble.
