Watching this Superbowl coverage and haven't seen anybody mention Percy Harvin. The guy is a great threat and a tremendous talent.

I see the media trying to talk up the Seahawks receivers as though Jerry Rice and Tim Brown are lining up. Baldwin and Kearse are not elite receivers. They are benefiting from the incredible Seahawks system, much the same way Wilson is getting raised up by the Seahawks system. (You put Wilson on the Colts, they likely would be around a .500 team. You put Luck on the Seahawks, they'd win more games.)

Back to the point about Harvin. All the guy has to do is behave and he gets to keep his fat paychecks, be on a elite contender each year and be the top receiver that they have. Instead, Harvin wreaks havoc on the team and gets sent packing.

I mean, the NFL will cover up any scandal or situation for a top player if you're a big dog. All you have to do is show up, do your job, perform on the field and not blow up the locker room. But Harvin set his own house on fire and might not ever see the playoffs again.

He's a great talent. I just don't understand what some of these guys are thinking. It's amazing.

Why? He's an asshole! He's a difficult "me, me, me, me" type of "teammate". Very few can get along w/ him and he's needy. His "migrane headache" problem was the excuse that normally got him out of most situations. But the bottom line is he is a cancer.

I'm a Florida grad....and fan. He (and Urban Meyer's handling of it) are a huge part of the problem of where Florida Football is at this point. Percy was great - when he was playing and not causing problems. Off the field? Different problem.
