Dog owners

the last dog I owned was a golden retriever , lived 17 years and after he passed swore I'd never have another dog.

we have a cat ( useless ) hate it . I want another mans best friend. I'm thinking a beagle. Something smaller. Any of you guys have a smaller dog ?

I had a beagle years ago, maybe I wasn't ready for a dog when I got him, but he was very stubborn, always barked - drove me nuts.

I dont like small breeds but... Beagles are really nice and smart, Pugs are funny... what about a Bull Terrier?

Its on their DNA... out of 10 Beagles 8 are barkers and howlers

We take overflow pups every once and awhile from the shelter . If we found one we felt we could care for , no doubt we would keep it

no kidding my neighbors (old timers) had a french poodle (gayest most annoying dog in history) that barked at the wind 24/7... always on the front porch...

I didnt beat the guy up because he is like 60 but I did key his ride (more like knifed)

Neighbours on both sides are fenced in , hate animals ( ones black family , ones Pakistani ) not exactly sure why they hate animals but don't care really. I love dogs , they don't judge , they just love. Best animal ever

i was searching for a dog with a disability from a shelter that nobody wanted…adopted a blind dalmatian/pit mix, best dog i could have ever asked for. no idea why he was with a foster family for 6 months before i found him. will have had him for 2 years in may.

I have a foxhound which is like a giant beagle. Its a mans dog that's for sure, dirty, stinks, howls like mad..not the kinda pooch that's gonna have chicks dropping there pants or anything. Solid dog though ..cant off leash cuz they will follow there nose wherever it takes them

Yes beagles are smart but they howl all night and don't do well when left alone. Pugs are great but they have trouble drinking water and make a mess. I would recomend a rat terrier they are smart and low maintanance and will be ok left alone without chewing your house up. Miniature poodles are very smart and loyal but they are high maintance and have to go to the groomers about once a month.
