Let's say Brady/Pats/Billy are 100% innocent of this deflate business

And it was only 1 ball severely under-inflated (The one the colts intercepted and had in their possession)...while the other 11 were at or near the 12.5 psi guidelines.....

Do the Colts come off as super douches?

Do all the Pats haters come out and apologize (I know the pats fans will be puffing their chests around here)

If that's the case yes..to me that would be worse then what the Pats were accused of to begin with

absolutely, which is the way things are trending

only one ball significantly under inflated, and that's the one ball the Colts just happen to have in their possession

Colts organization complains, with one of the crybaby Harbough's behind the accusation after being schooled about the rules

probably became way bigger than anyone anticipated, even they're probably shocked by all the idiocy

having said that, I still believe we'll all know more once the final details are released, and what's been released to date can only ("should" only) make us wonder about everything that's been reported to date. From the early releases condemning the Pats to the more recent releases exonerating them. I know one thing, the more we seem learn, the better it looks for the Pats.

I know I also have to explain the following. because so many have gotten so much wrong:

1) if the Pats' balls were under-inflated by a couple of ticks (whatever that really means), then nobody can argue that can't happen due to atmospheric conditions and game use. As a matter of fact, on that day in those conditions it's expected to happen.

2) and the reason why the game balls for the Colts were not below 12.5 is because they started above 12.5, maybe as high as 13.5.

My best "guess" is that will be the findings, and then the NFL should investigate the Colts to see what they may have done to the one game ball that happened to be in their possession

If this keeps going the way it's trending.. Looking at the real possibility that pagano, colts gm grigson, and/or harbaugh could be suspended or fined. Colts should lose some type of draft pick.

See, this is the problem when the Patriots win. Just to remind you, your qb is 38 once the season starts and your coach is around 70. I have Andrew Luck.

No matter the outcome, I think what this whole deflategate illustrates is the jealousy and pettiness that goes on in the NFL - not to mention the hate of the Patriots. I could give two shits as to who is the greatest qb of all times, but apparently former qb's care. I can't believe Aikman and Montana dismissing the accomplishments of TB. Charles Haley one of football's biggest psycopaths saying that all Brady's SB wins are tainted. The depth of hatred for the Patriots is far and wide. IMO, Goodell might have to apologize to Kraft - how humiliating is that? Let's also not forget that Chris Mortenson doesn't exactly come off as Mr. Reliable if this proves to be a bunch of crap. I am not a fanboy of the Pats - would have loved to see them lose, but I'm starting to think they are going to walk away from this feeling even more smug and arrogant than they did before. Perhaps justifiably so.

BOSTON (CBS) — Here’s a story you definitely did not miss: The Patriots were accused of underinflating footballs in the AFC Championship Game. Here’s a story you might have missed: It was all a bunch of hogwash.
Yeah, “DeflateGate,” you know the thing where the entire country lost its collective mind because Tom Brady and Bill Belichick supposedly cheated in the AFC Championship Game, a two-week period of absolute hysteria where people drew conclusions as soon as they heard the accusations?
All of it was nothing.
Two developments last week essentially put the kibosh on “DeflateGate,” as it stupidly came to be known. Well, technically, there were three developments. The first took place when Robert Kraft boldly stepped to the podium Monday evening in Chandler, Ariz., and firmly stated that he expects an apology from commissioner Roger Goodell to Belichick, to Brady and to the entire Patriots organization for all of the accusations that came without any proof or evidence of wrongdoing. Much like with Belichick’s press conference two days prior, a person of Kraft’s stature does not speak with such certainty unless he knows that the league has nothing. The stakes would be too high to make such statements if evidence found at a later date might prove them to be liars.
So there was that, but if you’re into more concrete evidence there was this.
First, at a press conference last Thursday in Phoenix, NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino spilled the beans that the PSI of the 12 Patriots footballs were never recorded by referee Walt Anderson. Blandino said that balls were measured, and if they were under the low threshold of 12.5, they were simply pumped up with some air. So instantly, the report by ESPN’s Chris Mortensen that said 11 of the 12 footballs were a full 2 PSI under the threshold was essentially debunked. How could Mortensen have that information if nobody could have that information? (The answer, of course, is that a source who desperately wanted such misinformation out there gave him the “scoop.”)

Pats fans are in no position to call anybody a crybaby.. Brady is one of the biggest whiners on the field ever.

While I tend to agree with this sentiment, I don't think the Commish will do it.

The Colts really, really look like a pathetic franchise now.

But but but... but but but all the haters in here like Vitterd knew from day one exactly the fact that Brady personally had those balls deflated. He spent probably
100-200 posts saying such?

This might seem like a stretch right now but just wait a few weeks, it wouldn't surprise me if the Colts were kicked out of the NFL altogether after the weight of a massive defamation lawsuit.

That makes a lot of sense. Opens the door to get a team in LA and gets rid of pill poppin Jimmy Irsay.
