Yeah I suppose with the correct branding you could become a psuedo celeb pretty easily (although if the books know who you are then it gets harder)

Whereas nobody gives a shit if you are minting money taking action at -110 since a monkey could do it.

You need to provide some context for the question though.

Is it being a bookmaker legally? Obviously if the threat of jailtime is involved that might change some opinions. Not everyone is cutout for that EverFresh lifestyle.

really doesn't get that much harder. Guys/ Groups like Walters, the China man , the old kosher boys, etc.. always had outs offshore
The better shops will take that action all day... They want that action/info

it will be the small/med shops where if you get to that level, they will cut you off.

Being a gambler is a sweat most often than not... lots of research and long hours. Big bookie has to sit and watch the games, while drinking, study weekly sheets for sharp action and just kick some ass when employers dont do their thing; they have more free time

Way more hrs for a gambler...A successful gambler continually finding inefficiencies in the line over and over vs a bookmaker who pretty much has most of his work done for him on that front.
