I am in severe pain, 28 years old, not overweight but just started to exercise again after a 4 month break... my back is killing me, usually after being sited for more than 3-4 hours at work (8-10 hr shifts, desk).

Hopefully near San Pedro.

My friend, chiropractors are in a sham-based profession.

It's like when you take your car in and the front man for the mechanic shop is there to talk to you real nice and then explain to you that you need $1500 worth of work when all you need to do is tighten up some bolts. Chiropractors are somewhat in the same boat, although not that ill-willed or ill-intentioned.

Best of luck. Remember, research stretching.

Pain is not result of exercise at all as I busted my knee 4 days ago so I halted but... just sitting down all day seems to fuck my back

There is one good one by you ,he would really crack your spine.
Look in the phone book for "Everfresh Chiropractic"
I wouldn't use him for a prostrate exam, but that's just me.

Busted knee? Damn.

Are you able to get up once in a while and do some stretches? Works wonders for me.

Is not that bad, I can walk without a limp for the most part, cant climb stairs or make sudden or strong moves tho...

Is an old injury, I was running without stretching and my kneecap got stuck and when I kicked again for another footstep it cracked, couldnt flex it that day but it felt way better the day after... so I think is just rest and better stretching...

My back has been killing me for months and I'm going back to the gym... I dont want to be halted by chronic back pains either...

Guess a good painkiller hook up would be nice too... also, anyone into importing protein/anabolic pills? Aerocasillas wont make it.

Honestly your best bet is stretching.
The pain killers make it worse in the end.

Never go to chiropractor......licensed quacks. I know of two people that have become paralyzed because of them. Everyone will tell you you need an adjustment. Because they have a boat payment to make.

I played semipro soccer 10 years ago, halted by kneecap injury, but besides that no injuries, only time I heard my back crack was when defending a friend from a beat down 2-3 really big guys (club security enforcers) pinned me down and kicked the shit outta me, they couldn't drop me for about 30 seconds while hanging down from my neck/back and when they did I heard the crack but I don't recall the pain lasting more than 2-3 days. That was 10 years ago as well. The pain is focused in the middle of my back, constant spurts of pain without pause, when I get up and stretch a bit I feel a little relief... I don't feel any weird sensations on my legs... I recently started working in an office after 2 years and the pain started after the 2nd week... been a month now, I'm guessing related to not being used to sitting down plus a bad posture
