Not sure what's on Netflix but the best movies I've seen lately are Snowpiercer, Frank, Cheap Thrills, Housebound, What We Do In The Shadows, Resolution, Europa Report, and It's a Disaster. All relatively unknown I think.

Ones from previous years I liked that probably aren't well known are Goon, Attack the Block, Detective Dee, Four Lions, Tales from the Golden Age, and Outside the Law.

I tried to read the book, but it was too dark and creepy... movie was great

Snowpiercer?

SNOWPIERCER??

That's one of the worst movies of all time. It's up there with 'Life of Pi', another absolute shitfest that got rated high but is one of the worst movies of all time.

No offense to you, but you ever see a movie that was critically acclaimed and was absolute garbage. (Think Eminem)

I just couldn't get over how bad that movie was, as well as Life of Pi.

I see what you're saying, man. But just go watch that movie and tell me it's good. Go watch it. Man, it was terrible.

Even the main actor is ashamed of that movie, but he still had to promote it.

Anybody see The Expendables? Same shit. People raving up and down about it. It was absolutely horrible.

I'm not trying to knock some guy's selection, but that movie is just bad, bad and fucking bad.

Expendables got shit reviews... Snowpiercer was cool IMO. Very different than most movies. Life of Pi too. Do you just not like movies that are kinda weird?
