Read somewhere that the majority of NFL players go broke after leaving the NFL. Well, here are a few old players who parlayed their earnings into riches. Roger Stauback (Dallas Cowboys) heads the list by a country mile. After retiring from the NFL, he started a commercial real estate company and has been highly successful.

Here's a list of the top 5 wealthiest (net worth) oldtimers:

1. Roger Stauback ($600 million)
2. John Elway ($145 million)
3. Brett Farve ($100 million)
4. Joe Montana ($80 million)
5. Drew Bledsoe $48 million)

Top 5 active NFL players net worth:

1. Peyton Manning ($165 million)
2. Tom Brady ($120 million)
3. Eli Manning ($80 million)
4. Aaron Rogers ($60 million)
5. Drew Brees ($55 million)

Retired and active list are all quarterbacks. Guessing they learn to make good decisions on the field and it has paid off in the business world.

Golly, I just realized all the quarterbacks are white.

Sorry REV Al and REV Jackson.....jesus what a bad post.

Always can turn to the National Black League for some heavy hitters.

Forgive me Al and Jesse for the one sided post.
