Will Johnny Football end up in New York? The Jets just cut Mickael Vick loose. They have the #6 pick in the draft, and signs point to both Mariotta and Winston going in the first two picks. That leaves the Jets with just two options. Trade up to get the #2 pick, or find another QB. Right now, Johnny Football is the logical choice, because the Brownies want to get rid of him and his act and the Jets are desperate. This is lining up to be another Jets disaster in the making.
Jets should wait and see if they can get Mariota at 6. Unless there is a trade up, Jax, Oak and Wash are not grabbing a QB.
TB could grab a QB I suppose....shockingly taking JW if he passes the combine tests and interviews. But Tenny taking a QB would be dumber than dumb. They are a terrible team with many flaws. Taking Mariota would be a bad choice. They'd be better of trading the pick and getting multiple draft picks out of it. Tenny needs quantity......
and getting Manziel would be an epic fail for the Jets....which means he'd fit in quite nicely.
