The NFL gives prospective players a 50 question quiz called the Wonderlic Test. Simple test that the players are given 12 minutes to complete. A score of 20 indicates average intelligence. The top 5 all-time "worst" scores by quarterbacks:
Oscar Davenport 6
Vince Young 8
Jeff George 10
Michael Bishop 10
Tee Martin 11
Of all QBs on NFL rosters during the 2014 season, Alex Smith scored the highest at 40. Eli Manning is next at 39, followed by Matthew Stafford and Matt Flynn 38. Rounding out the top 5 is Tony Romo at 37.
Other prominent starters: Aaron Rogers (35), Tom Brady (33), Phillip Rivers 30, Payton Manning and Drew Brees (28), Joe Flacco (27) and Jay Cutler (26).
It will be interesting to see how Winston and Mariotta score. My guess is both do well..........
