You guys probably read or heard about Travis Kvapil's entered car for the Atlanta race being stolen. Besides the car, there was a backup engine in the trailer. I know you couldn't drive the car very far--besides the color, fake headlights and advertising stickers plastered over it, it would be too low to the ground to drive on a street.
However, could you take the backup engine--valued at $100,000--and stick it into an old Caddy or similar-sized car--and drive it. The mileage would suck, but it would be fun to get it up to 140 or so.
Is that feasible?

Highly feasible. Don't forget to put race gas in it, though, or it will fall on it's face.

Feasible arnie .... but not probable. Remember, the trailer they stole was unmarked. I guarantee they werent planning on opening that trailer and seeing a $250,000 stock car inside. That leaves a thief with very limited options.....

That motor will be stripped and sold as parts or scraped.... whatever avenue brings them the easiest cash
