Just look at this chain of events.

Failed execution of new stadium.
Seahawks (Sherman and Russell Wilson) celebrating Thanksgiving dinner on 49'rs 50 yard line in front of national audience.
Firing of Harbaugh
Joke press conference with York and Balke (basically revealing to fans the owner and GM have no clue)
Gore (heart of the franchise) being traded away
Patrick Willis retiring
Justin Smith retiring
Kaepernick being shopped by Washington and Houston
Crabtree on the chopping block.

It's pretty much a local take here but even as a Raiderfan I have to ask, "What on earth are the 9ers doing over in Santa Clara?" Some experts peg the Niners to be worse in 2015 than they were last year.

San Francisco general manager Trent Baalke released a brief statement denying the team is shopping Kaepernick, per Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com: "Colin is our quarterback and we are excited to have him. He is not going anywhere. The media reports suggesting otherwise are without merit and, quite frankly, ridiculous."
Jayson Braddock of SportsTalk 790 in Houston reported the 49ers are looking to deal their 27-year-old quarterback. The Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears are two teams believed to be interested, per Braddock.

Balke's word is a genuine as a $3.00 bill. He denied Harbaugh being shopped to Cleavland during last year's offseason. I wouldn't be surprise if they tried to trade Kaep for Foles.
As far as Vernon Davis? He's checked out of football. He's working on his "Brand" and other endeavors.
