Utah Passes Law Allowing Exceutions by Firing Squad

Utah needs only the governor's signature to allow executions by firing squad.

As usual, liberal democrats are crying about cruel punishment for a sorry bastard who deserves to die. The same democrats crying about cruel punishment for a murder, etc., have no such guilt about sucking the brains out of unborn babies. Killing the little bastards is no big deal to them. Fucken hypocites...........

After that last guy twitched and convulsed for 10 minutes after lethal injection , i'm about to think that a firing squad is the quickest and painless way to carry out capital punishment. .... better than hanging or electric chair.

Executions should all be public and the victims family should be allowed to carry out how they wish. Televise them, use the advertising dollars to help the economy. So many ways to execute people. Would make great TV

Actually the punishment should be locked in a room with the victim's family members for a few minutes and whatever happens, happens...

I've said this for years, but it should not be minutes. Give it a a few hours. Takes along time for someone to bleed to death although shock may kill them first.

Would give the family more peace of mind than a stupid injection into the arm as he mouths off knowing he is getting ready to die. I hate " human rights"

There are a few countries in the middle east where they still cut off your hand for stealing. And if you do it again they cut off the other hand. I heard there is an extremely low percentage of second time offenders. I wonder how many murders we would have in this country if we executed them ISIS style

Clearly the reason states do not execute people quicker or more often is not because of any sort of compassionate or "human rights" reason......

It is because those people might somehow leave proson at a later date...... and then buy recreational marijuana or spend money on lottery or slot machines..... and at that point line the pockets of the state governments.

When it comes to activities that ruin families every day..... the more the merrier!

Let prison inmates use him. What is so wrong with this. Show it to the Islams. They aren't real people. Experiment with them. See how a human would function without legs for a generation. Take notes, then shoot them.

I thought Utah already had the firing squad execution on the books. And they leave it up to the prisoner of choosing which way he wants to be executed. Here in Oklahoma, since they had that botched execution by lethal injection a few months ago, they've decided to go with a brand new method using Nitrogen Gas. Which is basically similar to the hypoxia that pilots at high altitudes can encounter when their oxygen supplies diminish. They say it's revolutionary and will eventually make all other forms of execution obsolete.

Yeah , i think gary gilmore (sp) was the last firing squad execution in utah , then they went to something else.

I made a couple of jokes earlier in this thread , but i was serious when i said firing squad was the quickest and least painful way to die. ... it should be used.
