The Minnesota Vikings have acquired wide receiver Mike Wallace and a seventh-round draft pick from the Miami Dolphins for a fifth-round pick, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.


The trade was made before the Dolphins have to pay Wallace's $3 million bonus this weekend.

Vikings made out just a little on this, veteran WR who still has some gas left in the tank who can hopefully produce on their offense. Have to see how Bridgewater matures in his second year.

Vikings could be the surprise team this year, they have a lot of good young talent, if the pieces fall right they could surprise. I know I am a homer but I always give and honest opinion and am right more times than not about this team. I will pick them to lose and have bad seasons as well

Well the way I see it, if, a big if Peterson comes back, they have a receiver who can take the top off the coverage when they see the 8 - 9 man box, this could be deadly cause Teddy can throw the deep ball. Vikings will have good year unless Teddy has a sophomore jinx

I too bleed purple, have for over 50 yrs. Yes, glad to see they got help @ WR. but, they need 2 other things more. Short term OL, there were some very good FA available as of today we got ZIP!! Long term get rid of Spielman. Christain Ponder, need I say more, and there's plenty. Hope Teddy is not a mirage.

We have seen this. Guys like Bridgewater don't go to playoffs unless you have the top ranked D and the best running game.

Who are the guys like Bridgewater? If you are saying that Wilson and Bridgewater are alike, you would be definitely wrong.
