I rec'd an email from ""Amozon rewards""...

wanting me to click on a link to confirm shipping addy...

problem is I haven't bought anything to 3-4-5 mths...

I'm not going to click it...

was just wondering if anyone had this happen to them too..#%()

Anytime CP, is most likely one of those "fishing links" that will either:

1. install a trojan on your pc when you click it
2. or steal your login info when you login into the false website

It's amazing how many scams there are nowadays. Misspelled words and/or incorrect grammar is always a tip off that the email is not legit.

I got that same email that I got last year from a Bank of America scam (I started a thread about it).

Not enough bad things can happen to these people.
