My question rises bc I believe the 2nd would be given the benches and the side that teams strike on.. Could be wrong tho

yes 2nd period...although last year in the playoffs the 3rds were extremely high scoring

Just my personal opinion, it seems like teams light it up more in the 3rd .. Im sure theres some site with stats that'll prove me wrong! You always got the opportunity for empty net goals in the 3rd as well
