Should that UCLA/SMU Game Winning Goaltending Be The Rule

SMU up 2, UCLA takes a bad 3, clearly wide right.. SMU jumps and touches it before it gets to the rim, goaltending, UCLA now up one...

Do you agree with the rule? Should it be changed?

SMU got robbed. He was clearly going for the rebound and had zero chance of going in.

Didn't see it but a rule is a rule.

If UCLA would of grabbed the ball and slammed it they would not of called offensive goal tending so it was a bad call

I don't think the rules should change, you do have to wait till the ball cleared.. for all we know.. ball could have bounced off something and gone in.

SMU up 2 and had he come down with the ball he would have been fouled mmediately and had the chance for 2 FT's and push

Leave the rule as is but not sure it applied here. Why didn't the the Great Larry Brown call a timeout though - didn't they have like 3 left?

It never cleared and never hit the rim first. Obvious goaltending, dumb move in the heat of the moment by the SMU players.

Guy has lost his mind i think. Says KY would make the NBA playoffs yesterday.

The rule is fine and the call was correct.

That was so stupid. Even a shit NBA team is full of nothing but NBA players unless tanking. Kentucky will have 7 or 8 guys drafted but most will be bench players in the NBA. This Kentucky team does not have 5 NBA starters on it on a playoff team.

If you look at mock drafts, they have 7 players getting drafted this year and 4 are in the 2nd round which is basically a non starter and someone who might not even make the team. Cauley Stein has no shot and will just be a role player defensively in the NBA. Towns may be the only long time NBA starter on that entire team.

Funny how when the Harrison's come out of hs, they are locks for lottery picks. Then you see them play for a couple years and they are 2nd round picks.

Towns could be the only NBA starter on this team. Maybe Uhlis
