Personally, I'd never bet against Izzo, NEVER! Does he have the players, that's a whole 'nother thing. There's no Cleaves, I mean, no marquee players, but Tom Izzo is one of the best coaches ever! Period, end of this story.

Absolutely. I love msu tomorrow! UVA can't score and this will be a dogfight the whole way! I'm heavy on +5.5 (I'm buying to 5.5 because I don't want to push). Just look how low the total is, this game will be in the 50's and go down to the wire. Msu also is peeking at the right time and can play with anybody-- they gave that game away to Wisconsin but showed they are capable of playing vs big boys. Good luck!

The ACC is 9-0 so far in the NCAA Tournament.....................They are unstoppable as the most superior conference ever as what other conference wins their first 9 games in a NCAA Tournament

That said, let's go Michigan State Spartans...........(first leg of a teaser for me)

MSU can do this. Love them outright as well. They are such a pesky team in tournament time that other teams have trouble putting them away even if they get a jump on them early. Izzo and team just keep coming back and keeping it close setting themselves up to win it in the end.

Can MSU win? Yep.

Does MSU have the more talented players? Probably not.

Does Izzo have his normal big coaching advantage? No, not today.

But MSU fights during the tournament every year and today should be no different....

Maryland in the Big Ten Tourney was thei 1st win against ranked teams all season, went 1-7. Virginia is a sleeping giant if they wake up they could win it all. Question is will they wake up......most underestimate this team they've been in the bushes all season.....a good place to be right now.

You're joking right?

MSU has the clear advantage at PG. Dawson will be the best player on the floor and their size is better. Their shooters are better as well. Izzo has an advantage over Bennett and MSU beat this team last year.

I think everyone in the world thinks Michigan State will upset Virginia. The more appropriate question would be "Does anyone think Virginia has a chance to win"?

Clear advantage at point guard? Hardly. A healthy Justin Anderson is the best player on the floor and looked to be betting his rhythm back against Belmont. Also, the guy you quoted didn't say Izzo didn't have an advantage, he said he doesn't have his usual large advantage.

Won't be surprised if MSU wins, but your post is largely hyperbole.

All of this bullshit about Michigan St beating UVA last year is just that... Bullshit. Who honestly cares? Means absolutely nothing. Virginia has pretty much the same team as last year and MSU lost Payne, Harris and Apply. IMO, UVA rolls this team today.

I said clear advantage at PG. Who on Virginia's team is better than Trice? Anderson is not better than Dawson. He can score better sure, nothing else.

If MSU has the better players then Izzo has done a terrible job this year. 11 losses this year including those to Neb, Ill, Min, TxSo.......

either MSU has better players and a worse coach or a great coach with lesser players. and in now way do I think Izzo is a terrible coach, so......

So just because you have better players, it means you can't lose to a team like Nebraska? That's not the point. The point is you said Virginia has more talented players than MSU and they do not. Not even close.

London Perrantes is Trice's equal. Anderson is absolutely better than Dawson. He's a better scorer and a great defender who gets you 5 boards and a couple of assists a game. Don't get me wrong, I like Dawson, but there's a reason Dawson will be playing in Turkey next year while Justin Anderson will be in an NBA training camp (if he decides to go pro, which is obviously less likely do to the late season injuries).
