Nash, no question. Hard to predict Wiggins (or any player) as Hall of Famer + 2-time MVP.

The better question, where do you rank Nash all-time? His multiple MVPs put him in discussion for Top 30-50.

But you could also argue he isn't Top 200 --- lack of defense, product of team/system, and he greatly benefited from the open-rules & open-court after Bird/Magic/Jordan era.

Nash, no question.

How do you know that Wiggins won`t have a hall of fame career?

The kid is 19 years old....He`s averaging 16 PPG.

You can`t predict the future......LMAO

Steve Nash averaged 3 PPG his 1st season....LMAO

Potentially Wiggins. Nash only played one end of the floor.

Since so many people like to dictate how good a player is or isn't based on if they lacked the same skills on one side of the ball as they did the other, then that should make John Stockton the greatest NBA player ever since he owns both all-time assists AND steals records...(<)<

Very big fan of Stockton, he is a top 5 for me, should be a top 10 for most

Except nobody believes that. Nash was a hell of a player. Top 10 all time pg and one of the best shooters in nba history. The guy shot over 40% from 3pt range for how many years? One of the greatest assist man ever. Defensively he was abysmal. It's not even like you can argue that he was an average defender.

Wiggins we are talking about a potential 25/5/5 season player who d's up. It remains to be seen if he put up those types of numbers while transforming Minn into a winning organization.

You're right, I don't know if Wiggins will have HOF career. But I also know there are only ~ 160 players in Naismith HOF.

Dominique Wilkins --- in the HOF, but *not* a first-ballot player. That's how selective the HOF is.

In order for Wiggins to have better career than Nash, I think we can agree the minimum is HOF. Not even worth discussing/thinking about HOF, until a guy has played 4-5 years.

The NBA is littered with guys who were All-Stars early, and then fizzled out (in terms of HOF potential). Either injuries, lack of commitment, off-court issues, or bad luck.

Larry Johnson
Grant Hill
T-Mac
Andrew Bynum
Yao Ming
Amare Stoudemire
Kenyon Martin
Elton Brand
Steve Francis
Baron Davis
Lamar Odom
Steph Marbury
Penny Hardaway
Derrick Coleman
Shawn Kemp

At this point, you have to consider Derrick Rose too.

Just curious, who is your Top 5?

Once you go Jordan, Bird, Magic, Wilt, Russell --- where is room for Stockton?

And I like Stockton --- I'm always partial to the scrappy/fundamental guys. But I don't see room for Top 5.

Jordan, Bird, Magic, Stockton, Chamberlain.

Have not seen enough footage of Wilt or Russel to have the right criteria.
