The Tampa Bay Lightning are 4-0 against the Montreal Canadiens this season as they face off for the 5th time tonight in Montreal.

Montreal leads Tampa by 3pts in the division.

So take it for what its worth.

Either you're one of those bettors who ride a streak, or one who believes the odds are against a team sweeping another 5-0 in a season.


For the record the Lightning ate hurting right now.

Montreal is the best team in the East (points) yet, they are 0-4 against the Lightning...

I think that's what he's saying.

Bolts lost garrison a Defensive men recently - their weakest area IMO...

and then lost paquette who can create offense - although probably not in the top 10 of most valuable players on the team...

it's just strange that Bolts have dominated Habs given Habs are so good

I think the reason for this is Habs swept the Bolts in the playoffs last year (bishop was hurt, backup goalie for entire series)

lightning have used that as fuel against Habs. bolts Players have even said that they feel like a rivalry has been brewing and they really get up for these games....

On the flip side of this, having attended the last game between the two, Habs were dying to fight.. it's clear that the bolts victories over them are bothering them on a personal level.

This is a mega game for that 1 seed in the East...

Habs 102 points
Rangers 101 points
Bolts 99

Habs and Bolts 6 games remain
Rangers 7 games

If forced to bet on it, Habs are the right side IMO...

But ill be watching with the Bolts jersey rooting hard for my squad, but i'd be telling you to bet the Habs
