Buying unlocked phones from ebay

Anyone has done this? Have seen some amazing offers and wondering if these phones work in CR. I know the ones that are Verizon or Comcast are a problem.

done it a couple of times and they do work. The ones i bought around 2009 were at&t and had no issues with them, now that i think about it they were blocked but I did unlocked them using cydia and all that and after they were passed the 2-year contract I sent an email to them and it was unlocked just fine. I would only add to be careful and to check the seller just in case

Thanks man, the promos are just unbelievable, no better value around for new phones! Still deciding if galaxy or iphone... will do a little research on batter duration cause thats what worries me the most.

yeah I saw your ebay thread crazy prices on those phones!! you can even make a few $$ buying them and selling them here (i mean costa rica), if you can get the iPhone 5@229$ you could sell it for 350$ easily i guess make some money and get rid of it quickly

Thats exactly what I was thinking of doing as well, buy a bundle , spend around $1000 and get back $1500 in a few days

If it's just for your use get an iPhone. I've had iPhones last 3 versions. When my phone got jacked I bought a galaxy and it sucks ass. I've had it a couple months and about to just get an iPhone.

Also, buying unlocked phones is way better than contract. You buy the phone. (I already had a Verizon iPhone 5s which worked). Get a new SIM card for $25. Then buy your prepaid card from whichever provider you use. Right now I'm using t-Mobil unlimited everything for $50. I had a better deal with my iPhone i got a Wal mart family mobile for $38/mo unlimited everything. That's dirt cheap.

I could get you some buyers for sure! let me know and probably 2-3 iPhones but have to be 5 or newer

Yes the iPhone battery lasts longer and just an all around better phone imo.
