This might be the most insane thing ever said...Connecticut people are the only ones in the US that watch that crap because they win every game by 30 points...ya right Geno hand out some more napkins

Geno Auriemma thinks men’s basketball isn’t very entertaining right now.
Auriemma said during a conference call Wednesday that as a spectator, the game’s “a joke.”
Auriemma’s team leads the country in scoring at 89.7 points a game and he said the women’s game isn’t much better, down three points a game.
The numbers back up his claim.
For only the second time in the past 15 years, teams in the women’s NCAA Tournament are outscoring their male counterparts. Women’s basketball teams are averaging 69.5 points a game in the first four rounds while the men’s teams are averaging just 67.8 points.
The differential has been getting closer since 2007 when the men were scoring six points more a game then the women, according to STATS.
Auriemma said that he’s speaking more as a fan than a basketball coach.

I don't like the guy but he is spot on about the college game. Both the men & women are behind the times but the men much more. The majority of teams are so offensively challenged these days that they make average defense look great. The scoring has been trending downhill for quite some time so the numbers prove his point in many ways.

There are only 2-3 girls basketball teams every year. I would love to have Rebecca Lobo licking my nuts and ass while Brianna Stewart and Sue Bird blow me. Guarantee I could beat all of them 1 on 1. I already beat a WNBA "star" 1 on 1. No mercy.

Girls basketball is funny. No one can shoot worth shit and when they do they have to push the ball from their chest up so then there is a rebound and UCONN gets 6'6" girl which is like a 7 footer in real basketball, then its over. And they all have 0 lateral quickness so if you have an athletic girl, she can drive everytime. Girls basketball has to be like male basketball in the 1800's when Bill Walton thought he was good.

Sorry Geno you have got your sports mixed up. Ok, men's basketball is not lighting up the scoreboard like some people wish, but at least it is competitive. Women's basketball is the most uncompetitive sport that I have ever seen. What a fuggin nitwit.
