I would definitely bet the top varsity boys in that. I assume you mean high school varsity. NCAA would be a total no-brainer.

I think most knowledgeable people figure girls high school varsity players compete well with boy’s middle school players. Of course someone will argue with that. Takes a great high school varsity girl's player to handle a top middle school boy!

I beat Katie Douglas 1 on 1 back in the day. She is in the WNBA. I never sniffed a college scholarship for basketball.

Here is the thing with girls basketball. No one can shoot worth shit. Most have zero lateral quickness. And they are shorter than guys. How many can really shoot off the dribble and create their own shot? If I had a girl, I could create a genetic masterpiece. She will be tall. Before she shoots a basketball, she will know ballhandling left and right. Most girls especially younger ones, really aren't strong enough to shoot a basketball. That is why in high school, the taller girls dominate. They are female versions of Greg Oden.
