monday bases

Love bases. Hopefully I will not be a fade like I was in college hoops this past season. Instead of having best bets, strong plays and regular plays, I am making all picks just one unit. That way at least I should not get buried if I do suck. Of course we all know staying away from those large favs is the key.

Boston -115 vs Phillies…………I hate going against Cole Hamels, but let’s face it. He does not want to be there. Even if he does bring his A-game, is he going to lose another 2-1 type of game? Going to be a long season in Philly. I see value fading the phils at only -115.

I don’t like either 1:00 game. I am getting my taxes done at 11:30, so I will be back to post the rest of my plays a little later on today. Still looking.

Kansas City -118 vs White Sox…………..Love the Royals pitcher at home today. It is the first time in a while that they opened the season at home rather than on the road. Shocked they are not a larger favorite than this.

Cincinnati -119 vs Pittsburgh………….Feels like too many people on the Bucs as a dog today. I am going with Cueto’s great history vs Pittsburgh. In addition to that Liriano does not have a very good past vs the Reds. Bucs will have an awesome season this year, it is just not going to get off on the right foot.

Mark, I totally agree on you on Boston and the Reds. I do slightly disagree on the KC game..... but not a huge deal.

Like your analysis quite a bit on Hamel's attitude and your numbers on the Reds game are of course...... BALLS-ON accurate.
