Ive been posting in the NBA forum here and there. Posted a few times in mlb last season. I work for Comcast Sports Bay Area so Im pretty knowledgable in Bay Area Teams. I dont see and talk to Giants players more than Warriors and Niners. Ill sometimes hear things private (arm soreness or undisclosed injuries) but for the most part, I dont have locks or guaranteed picks. Most of my plays are from my own eyes since I watch close to every game and work about 1/3rd of the home games. I have some other coworkers that bet small so we discuss things weve heard or seen internally.
I bet 1-3 units. 1 is my average sized bet I play for $100. 2 units is obviously above average for $200.
In any case here is my play today
SF/AZ under 1st 5 4.5 runs for 1 unit
Vogelsong is the ULTIMATE team player and steps up when needed. Cain and Peavy are on the DL and now the Giants are short on SPs. Vogelsong knows whats needed and will pitch well enough to keep Dbacks silent for the first half of the game. In regards to Giants hitting, they dont fare well against pitchers they are seeing for the first time. Collmeter throws a straight fastball in the mid to late 80s which is why Giants rocked him. Theyll struggle first few atbats against De La Rosa whos coming from the AL.
