He has not thrown it over to first base one single time since 2013 to hold a runner.

He did it tonight for the first time in over 2 years and almost threw the ball into the stands.

How ow can a pitcher go over 2 years without throwing to 1st base one time?

They say he has the "yips".

His throw over tonight seems to have confirmed that.

It is quite unbelievable that a major league pitcher has trouble throwing between the bases.

Actually it was his 2nd toss over tonight that he threw it away and they got the runner out at 3rd.

......And on his 3rd attempt they go to the replay

They said they were going to work on him throwing to first in spring training. What's unbelievable is he hasn't even had that many stolen bases like you would think.
