He's so greedy. There is no Seahawks without him. But of course they will sign him for any price. :ohno:

its part of the process ever since free agency many moons ago. In professional sports, the players and the owners (everyone) are "greedy".

One could also argue that that the Seahags are "cheap bastards" for not offering to restructure his contract all things considered. They would have won the SB 2 out of 3 years had it not been for that dumb call to throw the ball and not give it to the beast mode. I'm thankful though as cashed me ticket on those cheater Pats!

My friend from high school went to the SB with his wife. This big guy sitting in the row in front of him. And he was a Patriots fan. And my friend who lives here in Wa. Right after the interception turned around and hell yeah your Seahawks lost. So my friend pushed him and he went falling into the row in front of him. Lol. Usher came and threw him out of the stadium for pushing him into other people. The game was already finished. Lol. So it didn't matter that he got thrown out. :pointer:

Wilson is not worth the money he is asking for. Seattle should trade him to Tampa for the #! pick and take Mariota, a QB who would fit perfectly into Carroll's offense, and managements pocket book.

ong Suh ($19 million), nine of the 10 highest-paid players for 2015 will be quarterbacks. Unless the Seahawks and Wilson can come to an agreement soon, he will make approximately $1.5 million in 2015.

Take a look at the nine highest-paid quarterbacks heading into the season below.

[h=2]Aaron Rodgers — $22 million[/h] [h=2]Ben Roethlisberger — $21.85 million[/h] [h=2]Cam Newton — $20.8 million[/h] [h=2]Matt Ryan — $20.75 million[/h] [h=2]Joe Flacco — $20.1 million[/h] [h=2]Drew Brees — $20 million[/h] [h=2]Colin Kaepernick — $19 million[/h] [h=2]Jay Cutler — $18.1 million[/h] [h=2]Tony Romo — $18 million[/h]

the minute the seahawks pay russell, they lose the talent that allowed them to get to and win the sb. wilson is a decent qb, but definitely benefits from the talented d that the seahawks put together the last couple yrs.

The Seahawks have a great defense, yes. But with a shaky offensive line and one of the worst receiving corps, you don't make it to the Super Bowl two years in a row. Russell Wilson made that happen. His play action ability is what made the Seahawks a Super Bowl contender. Since Russell Wilson is a starter, the Seahawks had a top-ten passing offense in each of the three years. With another QB, they probably wouldn't have made it to any Super Bowl. The shaky o-line lost Carpenter and Pro Bowler Unger. Who would want to play behind that line in 2015?

He should not be the highest-paid player like he wants to be, but he definitely earns a restructured contract.
