When Jon Lester signed a six-year, $155 million deal with the Chicago Cubs this past offseason, it came with extremely high expectations. Through his first two starts in a Cubs uniform, he hasn't quite lived up to the lucrative deal.
Lester is 0-1 with a 7.84 ERA after two starts. Through those two outings, he has allowed nine runs on 18 hits in just 10.1 innings of work.
After his team rallied late Monday night to save him from starting the year 0-2, Lester sent out this tweet:
