Drew Hutchinson looks like another pitcher with strong bounce back numbers. He got rocked for 7 runs against the Orioles after a nice first start against the Yankees. He started last year in similiar fashion, pitching a great first start, getting rocked in his second start, then bouncing back in his third. Out of his 8 non quality starts of giving up 5 runs or more, he bounced back 6 times with quality outings. In addition, following ALL of his 8 non quality starts, he did NOT give up a run in the first inning in 6 of those starts, 1 of those 2 being a solo home run (ideally a pitch location mistake?). Add that with a weak Braves lineup with noone on their starting lineup batting over .230.
