semi-old news now. but surprised i didn't see a thread on it already.... i'm assuming everything would be semi-ok in some time without the police chase?... like about 97% of ncaa teams, UCLA doesnt get too many 5-star kids so very painful to lose one.

UCLA recruit Sotonye Jamabo led police officers on a "five- to seven-minute chase" before being arrested Saturday night, the Dallas (sorry lost some of it in cut/paste operation)

Jamabo was charged with minor consumption of alcohol, minor in possession of alcohol, speeding, driving without possessing a driver’s license and disregarding a stop sign. He was released Sunday after posting a $7,500 bond.

He couldn't get away from the police, so he couldn't be that fast. What I want to know is how did a black kid fleeing the cops not get 10 bullets in the back?

In L.A, he may see the field, but being another dumb black kid who thinks he has it all, he definately will see the inside of a jail.

Probably no priors on him because he hadn't turned 18 yet.
So guess what? It all counts against him now. The evading
arrest charge takes everything he did and raises the stakes
up a couple of notches. It's a felony.

It's time for the Fulmer Cup to give credit where credit is due.
