I've watched it over and over. I don't think it was intentional. It was definitely a non-basketball play but not dirty IMO.

Why would you name your son Kelly? It's like the black guy named Stacey? That is my biggest challenge with this

Kelly was trying to keep Love from getting to the ball, certainly intentional but not malicious in any way shape or form. Arms are being grabbed all day long under the boards. He couldn't possibly know Love's shoulder would pop out

what Perkins and Smith did was malicious, those were two sucker punches

it does look intentional to me, he had no business pulling loves arm like that

No intention to hurt him, his intention was to not let Love get to the ball. In fast motion, it all took place in about 2 seconds.

If you notice he makes no attempt for the ball only to get Love's arm to where he can not use it to get to the ball. When he does have Loves arm in control he does not just hold it but he locks it under his armpit then proceeds to thrust his upper body down and forward.. so if I lock arms with you and apply force and pull on it, i do it knowing that I am going to hurt you. Hand/arm fighting is one thing but when I immobilize your arm it is a different story..

Malicious? Only he knows.. just as in life there are two sides to anything. Personally don't think he did it on purpose with intent to hurt him. Shit happens in the heat of battle but I understand how some will think it was malicious.

I did not think much of the Perkins issue as far as being malicious ( if its the screen I saw ) he definitely put a little ass in to it and it was a foul. But what and the hell was going through the mind of Smith? That tells me a lot about the type of guy he is.. if he swings that to the body it is one thing, he went right to the head area.. piece of shit and should get multiple game suspension

I guess that POS Kevin Garnett left his dirty mark on Boston's team.

But seriously.... Obviously it was intentional, but not so sure he deliberately tried to hurt him...

That type of stuff with jostling and arms locking up happens a lot but you don't find your hand on the guys arm without intentionally putting it there.

At the 2 second mark of the above video, his left hand holds Love's arm in for a second. Pretty weak but atleast now he'll be famous for something other than the Celts taking him over the Greek Freak.

Celtic fan here,it was deliberate, he put some body into the shoulder tug while grasping his wrist. I am shocked that Olynyk had this in him. Ive always felt that he was too soft for a big guy.
