On sports yes because once that money it is lost it is gone and there is only so much money that can be labeled as expendable....The stock market is another story....Sure your shares may lose value one day (like today, ouch) but tomorrow you are still in the game hoping for a market rebound......Then there is the rush of trying to time the market and pull out just in time.....CNBC is like a 24 hour tout service

I could stop gambling on sports....I don't think I could quit gambling altogether....between poker and golf and vegas, I live for gambling

It is possible to stop gambling , it is not difficult . But , i like gambling when it is only for fun , not for income.

nope, especially not now

it's the highlight of my day while recovering from surgery

I usually quit in April and resume in September, but not this year
