man is going to get a free pass from me for now on

"People are so jealous of Tom Brady and the Patriots. No court could convict based on the evidence. They can't beat him on the field, so this!" (he's smarter than most about this stuff too)

Why do we always try to destroy our true champions and winners in this country, while at the same time leaving the losers alone? STUPID! (ain't that true?)

and I'm somewhat amused by people who supposedly despise bureaucracies and supposedly believe in the rule of law embracing and loving the personal destruction of a man based on so little evidence

I'll never take their convictions seriously again, you can't pretend to have a foundation or a value system and then be so willing to toss it all aside when it serves your purposes to do so

there are others who always convict people the day after, based on an accusation or headline or 10 second soundbite, I'm not surprised that they do such. But a few others have shown their true colors.

balance boys, always have balance and let time do it's thing

more importantly, let both sides have their day in court, a principal I could never waiver from

dude, common sense says Brady cheated. It's not that hard to grasp. Now the punishment may be a little harsh, but all roads lead to Brady knowing what his ball bitches were doing. Come on now.

The important part to note is that this ISN'T a court of law so his comments are irrelevant and rather stupid.

You can do something at work and get in trouble or fired even if it isn't against any laws. Breaking the rules doesn't equal breaking the law.

As an accountant, I'm sure you spend every day taking shortcuts on regulations. As do the Patriots, and your new hero Trump. Peas in a pod.

Agreed. Not allowing The Deflator to produce the footballs anymore is like telling Picasso he is no longer allowed to paint.

That's true but in some states you'd be facing a lawsuit if you fired a guy without evidence of wrongdoing. You can't just say that Tom was at the watercooler every day at the office and Janet was also at the watercooler at times and therefore it was most likely Tom that instructed Janet to shit on the floor.

Look, Tom is probably not innocent but suspending guys without any proof at all is setting a dangerous precedent and I don't think it will stand up to appeal.

I like the Donald but he is way off base here. Court of law? The NFL is sports league filled with owners and players. Kraft is one of Goodell's biggest supporters so this couldn't have been an easy decision for him.

Brady would have been better off just saying something like .."Its my fault. I am a competitor and maybe I went a little too far in my instructions to the ball boy." Instead, he lied. The team wouldn't make available the ball boy for additional interviews after the first one. Brady was smug and lied to you all.

The NFL has to protect the integrity of the game. Punching someone's fiance in an elevator doesn't affect the integrity of the game. Neither is murdering someone.

Brady treated all this as some kind of joke. The NFL got the last laugh. Drop the appeal Tom. You have a lot of good-will built up in the NFL over your outstanding career. You should apologize, serve your suspension and get ready to play football in week 5.

Hard to argue that.

Lets say Brady was well aware of the balls being deflated, is it any difference than when a player gets away with a PI, a hold, offsides, or any other flag worthy play and he knows he did it but doesn't say anything?

The real hardcore Patriot-Haters cannot even conceive of such a thing. There mindset right now won't allow them to come down from their high and look at the big picture and what a circus of hypocrisy the NFL really is. Haters just want LICENSE to hate on the Pats and spin it any way necessary to justify. At the core of this is nothingness, every QB past and present are laughing at this and feeling for Brady. Yeah, they all do it. Lets see these "Cheat-Believers" mount up and go after Aaron Rogers now for warming up balls up in Green Bay. Exact same crime committed, lets see the conviction now. This is such a silly fkng thing to be dissecting...GET RID OF ALL PSI RELATED RULES. I said it way back when, why aren't the referees that handle the ball before each and every play not somehow compliant in all of this? What, they cannot tell a deflated ball from inflated? Whole thing is a joke.

[h=1]Donald Trump Will Probably Win New Hampshire[/h][h=2]But he looks weaker in the South than he once did.[/h]By HARRY ENTEN

Donald Trump more likely than not will win the New Hampshire primary today. Both FiveThirtyEight forecasts give him more than a 2-in-3 shot to finish first. So let’s take a moment to appreciate what’s about to happen. Sure, Trump has some rough precedents, like Pat Buchanan, but the fact that he will probably win the first primary is … noteworthy.
But Trump still has a long-term problem: Our forecast projects him to receive a little less than 30 percent of the vote in New Hampshire. That might be enough to win — but mostly because the field is so big and the non-Trump vote so divided. So far at least, Trump has had a ceiling on his support. And there are signs of this ceiling in upcoming primaries in the South, which was supposed to be one of his strongest regions.
Trump has historically done well in Southern polls. The region has a lot of non-college educated, moderate white voters — a demographic group that is right in Trump’s wheelhouse. These voters used to be Democrats but over the past couple of decades have identified more and more as Republicans. They’re receptive to Trump’s populist pitch.
