Quarterfinals

Albany vs. Notre Dame (men)

1* under 27.5 goals
This men's game takes place in Denver, the Mile High City. The thin air may make it hard for teams to move as fast as they normally do. Albany played some high scoring games early in the year when they faced weaker teams. They did score 19 in their last game but must travel cross country to face a good Irish team.

Johns Hopkins vs. Syracuse (men)
1* Johns Hopkins +2.5
These two played earlier at Syracuse and the Orange won 13-10. Johns Hopkins just blew out Virginia and has been playing well. The game is at Annapolis so Hopkins should have plenty of support. JH lost some early games as they were getting over the death of a player. Hopefully, we see a 12-10 type of game between two teams with a rich history in the sport of lacrosse.

Ohio State vs. Denver (men)
1* over 20.5
This game is played at Denver but not in their usual stadium. Denver's last few games have reached 24, 24, 25, 29, 22, 23, 19 and 26 goals. They lost to Duke last year in the playoffs 15-12 (27). Ohio State is off a 16-11 (27) win at Duke. The Buckeyes previous games totaled 19, 15, 27, 7, 21, 27, 18 and 9 (they lost 9-0 to Notre Dame!). OSU is an underdog by -4.5 goals.

Penn State vs. UNC (women's)
1* under 24.5
UNC is off a 11-6 (17 goals) win over Florida. Their last few games have reached 17, 17, 22, 30, 18, 23, 17, 19, 19, 29, 16 and 17 combined with their opponent. Penn State has scored 25, 24, 24, 23, 23, 24, 22, 16, 27, 23, 32 and 23 goals in their last 12 games. I look to unders in pressure games like this one.

These games are available at 5 Dimes sportsbook. Good luck if you are able to wager on these games.

4-0 last week.

Duke vs. UNC (women's)
Friday
1* under 19.5

These two rivals played earlier and it ended 12-6 (18 goals). Their meeting late last year ended 7-6 in OT. UNC's two NCAA Tournament games have reached 17 and 19 goals while Duke's ended 7-3 (10) with Princeton and 9-8 (17) with John's Hopkins. They did play a game with USC that tallied 26 goals but USC is a high scoring team. Friday's game in the semifinals and being played on a neutral field. Small play on under 19.5 goals.
